Changelog
Document Control release notes
Release notes for Document Control. Each entry lists what’s new, improved, or fixed in that version.
Pending approval visibility
FixedThe For you panel and the Pending my approval tab now list the documents that are actually waiting on you. They previously reported nothing pending even when the document table showed otherwise, so a review could be missed.
Macros & health checks
NewThe Static Jira content macro puts Jira content on a Confluence page as a table and freezes it, so a released document keeps what was captured rather than whatever Jira shows today.
NewNew document now opens the same wizard wherever you start it: the document table, the documents table macro on a Confluence page, or the Jira dashboard gadget.
ImprovedHealth checks now cover both classic Confluence space permissions and the newer roles model (RBAC), with space creation checked separately from space permissions. Creating the initial template no longer times out and leaves it unreleased.
FixedThe OTP passcode in the Jira approval email is no longer cut off, and Safari autofill no longer skips digits.
FixedDocuments and templates now open in the current Confluence editor. Some sites were still showing the legacy editor.
Documents table macro
NewThe Documents table as a Confluence macro, putting a filtered list of controlled documents on any page, with the view and statuses set when you configure the macro.
NewInline editing on the document control card, covering change description, justification, and product.
ImprovedThe New version in Draft notice now appears on a released document whenever a newer version exists in the Draft space, not only while that version is still in Draft status.
ImprovedFilter settings on the document table travel in the URL, so the view survives a reload and can be bookmarked or shared.
ImprovedDocument change items in Jira now link to the Confluence page they control, so you can open the document straight from the work item.
References & document card
NewThe Table of References macro now works on any Confluence page, not only on a controlled document, so you can list controlled documents on an ordinary page.
NewThe document control card now shows the justification for a change, with clearer field names and each product shown as a link you can follow.
FixedThe Pending my approval tab now drops a document as soon as you approve it. It previously kept listing the document as waiting on you, even after a refresh.
FixedThe Table of References loads again, links to the document it lists rather than the page it sits on, and keeps its rows when the page is exported to PDF.
FixedThe Version column in the document table now shows the document version rather than the Confluence page version, and the Jira gadget loads instead of spinning and crashing.
